Abstract:   (35 Views)
To investigate the effect of the consumption of potassium and calcium nanofertilizers on the absorption of mineral elements and root yield of the chicory plant, a factorial experiment was conducted in a complete randomized block design with 32 treatments and 3 repetitions. In this experiment, the first factor was eight cultivars and indigenous landrace of Cichorium (indigenous landrace of northern Iran, Kashan, Urmia, Sistan-Baluchestan,Tilda, hickory, Orkis, Modified Hungarian cultivars) and the second factor was nanofertilizers use (nano-K chelate (20.00), nano- Full micro chelate (20.00), nano-Ca chelate (20.00), plus a zero control treatment. The comparison of the mean interaction effect showed that the Modified Hungarian and Tilda cultivars with spray application of Ca-nano chelate had the highest absorption of phosphorus (5.56 and 5.63 mg.g-1 dry matter), potassium (32.67 and 35 mg.g-1dry matter), nitrogen (23 and 22.33 mg.g-1dry matter), magnesium (3.36 and 3.53 mg.g-1dry matter) and iron (2.75 and 2.80 mg.g-1dry matter). The highest amount of calcium absorption (3.95 and 3.93 mg.g-1dry matter) was obtained in the Modified Hungarian and Tilda cultivars. The consumption of Ca-nano chelate with an average of 3.93 mg.g-1dry matter had the highest calcium absorption. Tilda cultivar with application of Ca- nano chelate had the highest Inulin content (13.60 %) and Root yield (4114 kg.ha-1). The lowest amount of inulin (7.06%) was obtained in the indigenous landrace of Sistan-Baluchistan and northern Iran without the use of nanofertilizers. Based on the results of this experiment, it seems that according to the amount of elements absorbed in the root, root yield and the inulin amount and high nutritional, pharmaceutical and industrial value of inulin, by using the foreign cultivars, especially the Tilda cultivar with foliar spraying of nanofertilizers to obtain valuable resources for the commercial production of inulin inside the country.
